I am a writer and creative exploring the crossroads of identity, spirituality, and heritage through my work. Currently, I am working on my debut novel which delves into the rich traditions of Black spirituality and folklore.

I am from Youngstown, Ohio, and now based in New Orleans. I am a 2026 Lambda Literary Emerging Writer Fellow, a participant in the 2026 Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, and a 2026 Abode Press Fellow. A recipient of the 2025 Gotham Writers Workshop Writer of Color Scholarship, my residency honors include the Sundress Academy for the Arts (SAFTA). My flash fiction appears in Blood + Honey and One Black Perch Literary Journal, while his nonfiction is featured on Blavity. In 2021, I began teaching Creative Writing with Community Works, a K-8 arts enrichment nonprofit in New Orleans, where I now serves as Program Engagement Manager.
